Natural stone, mineral binder and the trace of grinding: Terrazzo alla Veneziana unites centuries of craft culture with almost unlimited freedom in colour, grain and spatial effect.
Terrazzo begins with individual fragments. Marble, natural stone and selected aggregates are embedded in a mineral matrix, compacted and ground. Only at the cut surface does the composition reveal itself: every grain, colour and irregularity becomes part of a continuous whole.
The surface is not applied; it emerges from the material itself. Grinding gives it depth, while continuity gives it calm. No decoration repeats. Every floor remains unique.

Modern systems enable large, low-joint to seamless surfaces with a reduced build-up. This allows the distinctive depth of terrazzo to be used in contemporary residential, commercial and retrofit projects. Careful planning, a coordinated substrate and skilled execution remain essential.
A terrazzo surface is not simply chosen from a catalogue. Matrix colour, the origin and size of aggregates, density, grinding and sheen together form an individual recipe. The result is a surface that belongs to the architecture—not merely its fit-out.
